Financial aid is awarded exclusively on the basis of need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the College Scholarship Service (CSS) Profile. Around two thirds of Vassar students receive financial aid.
Vassar is committed to making education accessible. First-year applicants who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents will be considered for admission without regard to their financial situation.
While we are need aware for international first-year applicants and transfer applicants, we meet 100% of the demonstrated financial need of all admitted students who apply for financial aid at the time of application to Vassar.
